What you’ll be doing:
As part of our in-house Design & Production Studio, you’ll collaborate with a team of creatives and marketers to deliver engaging, on-brand copy across a wide range of channels. You’ll be working on briefs from across the Commercial function — including Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, CRM and Product & Propositions — creating content that connects with both leisure and business audiences.
Your work will span:
- Headlines, ad copy, articles, video scripts, merchandising content, and UI experiences
- Campaigns and product launches that make our brand stand out
- Tone of voice development and brand guideline evolution
- Competitor and industry trend analysis to keep our content fresh and relevant
You’ll be the voice behind our Leisure communications, helping shape how Premier Inn speaks to its customers — and ensuring every word delivers impact.
Who you’ll work with:
- A close-knit team of copywriters and designers
- Stakeholders across Brand Marketing, CRM, Ecommerce and more
- External partners including creative and media agencies
- Occasionally, other internal teams needing expert copy support
What you’ll bring:
We’re looking for a creative thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a love for language. You’ll need:
- Experience in marketing copywriting, ideally in a brand or agency setting (retail brands could be interesting)
- A strong grasp of tone of voice, brand storytelling and content strategy
- Ability to tailor copy for different channels and audiences
- Understanding of SEO best practices, word count limits and regulatory guidelines
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to grow your career in content and editorial
Bonus points if you’ve worked with:
- UI/UX teams or digital product environments
- Broadcast or video content
- Tone of voice development and brand guideline documentation
- Have experience of Figma and Jira
