This role is the overall lead for financial support across the Premier Inn Commercial Team for UK and Germany. Acting as the key finance business partner for all Premier Inn product & proposition development, ancillary income, brand and digital marketing, B2B and accommodation sales
Location: Dunstable, hybrid- a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

What you’ll do:
- Deliver a robust and cost-effective Refurbishment programme through support on site selection and driving value for money
- Maintain control over capital/opex investments and PI Brand team expenditure (Brand Marketing & overheads)
- Responsible for the financial evaluation of new PI customer and product development initiatives, including effective trials and investment appraisal
- Develop and maintain commercial P&L for UK and DE with accurate budgeting and forecasting
- Lead Financial support to Product and Innovation team in driving PI Ancillary Revenue
What we need:
- Qualified accountant with minimum 5 yrs PQE experience
- Commercial Acumen – understanding of operational business drivers and ability to identify trends to inform future strategy.
- Strong level of thought leadership to develop the business partnering strategy and identify commercial opportunities
- Analytical rigour - a structured, methodical and broad-minded approach to business analysis, ability to identify core issues and provide assessments grounded in compelling logic
- Rounded technical skills – strong understanding of financial planning and management techniques including expert ability in financial modelling
