Location: Whitbread Court, Dunstable (Hybrid 3 days per week).
A senior Technical Product Manger that is responsible for managing our People, Legal and Force for Good Platforms. The individual will manage an in-house technology team and an extended partner team to effectively manage product releases (including regression testing), design and deliver enhancements and integrations, manage and shape partner product roadmaps, and maintain high levels of platform service availability for our teams. They will need to collaborate and influence technology partner roadmaps, effectively manage product release and regression test, and work with cross functional teams (up to Senior Director level) to optimise processes and identify where technology can address pain points, add value and drive efficiency.

What you’ll be doing:
- As the new Technical Product Manager looking after our People, Legal and Force for Good platforms. You’ll be covering the roadmap, service management, releases (including regression test and feature roll out), system integrations, and working with senior business stakeholders to ensure overall alignment with the business and Technology strategy.
- Lead the planning and delivery of large initiatives across HCM and other platforms. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement. Proactively identify where HCM and other SaaS product features can address this.
- Work and collaborate with the People systems team (who are responsible for configuration and access management) to effectively deliver initiatives and take responsibility for any technical integration and testing that is required.
- Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the HCM platform and other systems meet high standards of reliability and performance and provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment.
- Invest time in regular partnership meetings to gain an in-depth understanding of roadmaps and also influence the roadmaps to bring additional value for Whitbread
Minimum Skills/Experience Required:
- Technical Experience: Experience implementing a large scale HCM system (e.g. Dayforce, Work Day, SAP Success Factors or Oracle). A strong grasp of technical disciplines such as software development, architecture, and service delivery is important for this role. Familiarity with programming languages, APIs, and SaaS product management is also essential.
- Team & Third-Party Management: Proven track record managing technical teams and ability to proactively manage and support partner roadmaps, and understanding of partner delivery and service models.
- Functional Experience: Good understanding of People / HR system capabilities and key modules (e.g. Recruitment, WFM, Core HR and Payroll).
- Leadership: Proven track record of effective senior stakeholder management (up to senior Director level).
- Performance Management: Awareness of how to track the performance of platforms, from a delivery, support and financial basis.
