As our Talent Manager, you will actively engage in the initiatives we have, delivering programs that identify, nurture, and develop top talent within our business and you’ll play a crucial role in contributing to early careers programs, ensuring a robust pipeline of skilled professionals.

Your influence extends to creating new People Systems, where your talent acquisition insights and input contribute to the design of cutting-edge frameworks that will enhance our overall performance. This role is not just about managing talent; it’s about being a driving force behind the dynamic progress of our FTSE100 business, making a tangible impact on our success.

Contract Type: Fixed Term/Secondment – 12 months

Location: Whitbread Court, Dunstable, LU5 5XE. (3 days minimum at our Whitbread Campus)

What You’ll Do

  • Project manage the delivery of the Annual Talent and Performance Cycle end to end
  • Develop simple and effective processes and tools that drive one common process and the right outcomes.
  • Continually listen and take feedback to ensure the tools and processes are fit to meet the needs of the business.
  • Support the Head of Talent in writing papers that highlight the talent plans and outputs to present at PLC Board, with relevant insights developed and shared with People Team CoEs and People Partners

 

What We Need

  • Ideally experience in large multi-site / scaled organisations within a Talent Team.
  • Understanding of Talent, Performance and D&I, including familiarity with the latest research and thinking
  • Project Management skills, able to successfully manage a project end to end.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, on a variety of levels
  • Strong analytical skills, able to draw insight from data and create a compelling business case.
