Role: UK Ops Manager – F&B Systems
Function: Change Delivery/IT
Location: Fieldbase, with requirement of coming to WBC office at least 2 days per week
Employment Type: Full-time and 6-month secondment
Grade: A15
As the UK Ops Manager – F&B Systems, you will have the opportunity of working on an amazing pilot Simphony (tills) project. You will be the voice and eyes for Operations and will work closely with the IT & Change project team to provide Ops SME knowledge within the F&B space for the F&B system.
Attending meetings and workshops and providing end-to-end support in all phases of functional testing, standing up solutions and working with the Change Team to bring to life, design, build, defining standard operating procedures and validating the new F&B Simphony till system.

Understanding of the current F&B systems setup/usage in functional area

What you’ll be doing:

Provide Whitbread policy and process input for functional specialism into solution design

Input into Design Workshops working through all processes, providing relevant challenge and being a point of escalation during the sessions

Sign off design and configuration in provided workbooks – workbooks created as a result of design workshops, and obtain additional approvals as necessary

Own the process during implementation, be a point of contact and a champion for the process and managing stakeholders as required

Provide end-to-end support for test phases, UAT

Responsible for the development of test scenarios and scoping out test cases

Produce impact assessment and recommendations on target operating model for F&B

Provide support to the business change team in developing training materials for processes and behavioural change

Own the communication updates for UK Operations, keeping the wider team updated on the progress of the Programme and feeding in key stage gate updates throughout the life cycle of the Programme
