Location: Dunstable - we have a fantastic hybrid working environment, you’ll need to be in the office at least 2 days per week but the rest of your week can be flexible to what works best for you and your role.

As a BI Developer we are looking for someone to develop, embed and continuously improve the quality of data structuring, reporting and data visualisation used by ExCo and relevant functional teams to inform and enhance decision-making across Premier Inn
What are the main aspects of the role:
- Gather requirements for new/enhanced data visualisation/reporting based on BI backlog
- Develop high quality visualisation Power BI or Tableau, iterating efficiently via feedback from the commissioning function/team/user.
- Develop new/enhanced reporting and/or visualisation of data to support effective
decision-making. - Ensure new/enhanced visualisations are understood and being used effectively, soliciting feedback where appropriate to understand how improvements can be made
- Develop a strong understanding of the underlying KPIs and business/decisions processes that are being supported by the use of data
- Support teams using self-service data analytics to drive efficient development of queries and ad-hoc reporting
- Use SQL and if necessary other languages (e.g. R, Python) to prepare data for application in automated/scheduled reporting and visualisation, and in support of self-serve analytics
- Contribute to an IT development backlog and work with 3rd party providers to deliver new datasets and enhancement to existing data and systems

- Excellent SQL knowledge
- Strong PowerBI or Tableau skills
- Advanced MS Office skills
