About the role:
- We are all about giving opportunity - This role will suit someone who is either operating as a Senior Manager at a similar size company or a Head of level at a smaller company, with ambition to develop into a more senior role in the future.
- You will shape and determine our talent strategies across the business to ensure we have an internal plan for succession to support the current and future business plans. You will be able to conceptualise, recommend and execute strategic goals through our operations and support centre.
- Leading the annual performance process, you will ensure senior leaders are competent and confident in delivering performance management processes, from objective setting through to appraisal, simplifying and driving one common process.
- Working collaboratively with our Resourcing and Learning & Development teams, you will help to identify and develop internal talent and where needed build a pipeline of external talent.
- You will take a significant role in Whitbread’s Youth Strategy, through owning apprenticeships and early careers programmes across the entire business.
What you’ll need:
- Experience of talent planning strategies and intervention at scale.
- Extensive stakeholder management and engagement capability, at all levels, especially ExCo and Senior Directors.
- Prior HR generalist experience/experience of bringing talent cycle to life in generalist role.
- Management development knowledge and experience, with a sound knowledge of talent frameworks and strategies.
- Demonstrable experience with line management and developing careers within your team.
