Lead Digital Analyst - Permanent - London
Grade B17
The role will lead a specific workstream within the remit of the Digital Analysis team and will also lead the analysis for larger and more complex pieces of work.
The lead analyst will also support the Principle Digital Analyst in defining and implementing improvements to the Analysis processes and standards that the team operates too.
The role will line manage a small team of Business Analysts at varying levels of experience and will also complete day to day management and coordination of third party contract BA’s within the workstream they are responsible for.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Lead the analysis of a workstream within the Digital Analysis team’s remit
- Lead the analysis services (e.g. requirements elicitation and definition) for larger and more complex pieces of work
- Line manage a small team of Business Analysts at various levels of experience, through coaching and mentoring of the team
- Day to day management and coordination of the analysis activities within the workstream including any third-party analysis partners used in support of the team
- Coordinate the Analysis and have a good understanding of agile processes across a number of scrum teams within the workstream. Be the point of contact for bubble up issues
- Proactively establish relationships with business stakeholders, displaying in depth knowledge of business processes and managing the requirements and implementation of business solutions.
- Elicit requirements gathering through, workshops, stakeholder interviews, group sessions and/or use other techniques to identify business need or requirement with stakeholders of all levels.
- Interface regularly with business to define project direction, system change priorities and business objectives.

- Running workshops and presentations at all levels including ‘C’ Level
- Experience of leading the analysis for large and complex projects
- Experience in managing relationships between external partners and business stakeholders
- Experience in leading a small team of Analysts through coaching and mentoring
- Experience in managing relationships between external partners and business stakeholders
- Experience of managing activities that support full project life cycle implementations, including those of a large complex nature.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, covering As-Is and To-Be Processes, Business Requirements Documents and test plans
- Excellent knowledge of a variety of development methodologies and techniques, both Waterfall and Agile.
