Whether it’s our guests staying in our hotels and dining in our restaurants, or our Team Members delivering the best experiences to them, people are at the heart of everything we do.  As HR Business Partner – ER & Change you will be an integral part of this journey.  Ensuring that our people are supported and able to navigate their teams through change.  You will lead the delivery of the HR change plan within Premier Inn & Restaurants with particular focus on employee relations escalations, change projects including restructures, site disposals and TUPE.  Ensuring that all Team Members are treated fairly, and the impact of change is considered holistically.

A peek inside the role:

  • Acting as ER support in the management of complex, senior and multi-level ER caseloads, taking a pragmatic approach and guidance on a high-volume caseload (c 10-15 cases at any time).
  • Partnering with the Premier Inn & Restaurants leadership teams, you will support short- and long-term transformational change plans across the estate.  Ensuring that we navigate our people through change within minimal impact on business performance.
  • Working effectively as part of a number of project teams to ensure that all people impacts are considered through the project life cycle. 
  • Projects will include short term, tactical change, and longer-term strategic transformation activity.  These might include acquisitions, disposals, organisation design or contractual changes, your influence will be vital to ensure that teams remain engaged and focussed on delivery.
  • Listening to our people is key to our success, working alongside your HR and operational colleagues you will ensure that we consistently listen to, and act upon, the feedback of the people who are delivering our guest experience.

We’re open to you:

  • You’ll be an experienced HR business partner who has worked in a large and complex environment, that has a large operational team driving performance.
  • Working on multi-faceted, complex ER cases will be essential, nothing will surprise you and you’ll approach all situation with a calm and pragmatic attitude.
  • With experience of designing, developing and rolling out change management programmes, you’ll understand the factors that affect their success.
  • A strong influencer, you will be confident managing stakeholders at Senior level i.e. Operations Directors, Heads of HR, Regional Managers
  • You will have relevant employment law knowledge and an understanding what the organisation needs to do to mitigate relevant risk.
  • Flexibility to travel across the north of the UK, including overnight stays.
