As part of the Restaurants Marketing team, the Restaurant Insight Manager role will facilitate a robust customer research programme to derive clear and actionable insights for Restaurants.

Topline salary: Competitive salary, up to 30% bonus and benefits

As part of the Restaurants Marketing team, the Restaurant Insight Manager role will facilitate a robust customer research programme to derive clear and actionable insights for Restaurants. In addition to this, the role will represent the voice of the customer in several key forums, including the trading meeting and brand planning process, to ensure they remain at the heart of our decision making.

What you will be doing:

  • Gather annual requirements from across the wider Restaurants team to ensure we achieve our business aims with timely guest insight
  • Establish and embed seamless ways of working across Restaurants and Insight team to enable timely programme of delivery
  • Drive adoption and utilisation of guest insight in the Restaurant team
  • Help to identify the right range of measurement tools for key programmes by scoping requirements and engaging in any relevant tender programmes
  • Work with the Insight team and wider business to ensure all insight gathering and reporting is fit for purpose and drives action
  • Support the F&B development programme through online preference/food tasting programmes which better inform the process. This may include working with suppliers to leverage their insight.
  • Ad hoc qual and quant projects including supporting new formats and marketing development
  • Insight plan for F&B programme across the year
  • Strategic insight support for brand planning and strategic annual process

  • You will have strong research capabilities and experience across both qualitative and quantitative areas. The ability to extrapolate the ‘so what’ from multiple sources
  • The successful applicant will have an eloquent writing style, allowing for well written, insightful papers that tell an easy story for the business to assimilate
  • You are an articulate presenter
  • Self-starter, happy to learn on the job
  • Ideally experience of working in F&B and/ or retail. Knowledge of the restaurant market would be ideal.
