We are looking for a Head Chef to join the team at Bar + Block Wimbledon. Full time hours and an hourly rate of £11.21. This is an amazingly progressive role in a vibrant restaurant- so if you are looking to become a Kitchen Manager of the future, our internal development programmes will help you get there!
Bar + Block is an informal, all-day dining restaurant with a large open kitchen and spectacular central bar. Our particular passion is high quality steaks, hand cut to order. Working closely with the Kitchen Manager, you’ll be at the heart of a world class kitchen operation. As Head Chef, you’ll lead the way in making sure all food is prepared safely, cooked perfectly and presented irresistibly. And as shift leader, you’ll make sure the team knows all about offers, promotions and menu changes. Bringing out the best in the kitchen team through coaching and building strong links with the front of house team, you’ll see that every customer benefits from a brilliant dining experience. And your keen eye on the finances will keep everything sustainable.
An experienced chef, you have the expertise to drive an excellent kitchen operation. You’ll bring to the role an impressive dedication to maintaining quality and safety. Add in your talents as a leader and coach, and you’ve got everything it takes to solve problems and keep things running smoothly. Like all of us, you really care about our customers.
