Function: Finance
Location: Dunstable (Hybrid) 3 days in the office per week

What you will be doing:
- Assist with devising annual audit plan for Whitbread, including risk assessments and discussion with senior stakeholders.
- Plan and scope internal audit reviews, including meeting key stakeholders and drafting Terms of Reference.
- Meet with stakeholders, understand design of key controls
- Determine testing approach including consideration of risk analysis and data analytics
- Carry out detailed testing to identify issues.
- Work alongside co-source resources/specialists and coordinate work
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure they are aware of the issues being identified through the audit.
- Draft high quality, clear, concise audit reports, which clearly identify issues, risks and recommendations for the business.
- Conduct close meetings with management to present findings and agree remedial actions.
- Monitor implementation of control recommendations and assist in reporting status to the Board and Audit Committee.
- Help stakeholders to assess and manage risks, understand where processes could go wrong and what improvements could be made.
- Work with the Internal Audit function to increase maturity of risk management processes across the company.
