Salary: £58,000 - £63,000 + Benefits
Location: Dunstable, hybrid working, minimum 3 days per week in the office.

We are now recruiting a Procurement Manager (Construction) to join our award- winning procurement team who will lead end-to-end procurement for major construction projects including new builds, extension and refurbishment across our property estate in line with our business growth plans, which include our planned pipeline commitment of 7,000 rooms
Reporting to the Head of Property Procurement, you’ll partner with property, finance and sustainability teams in delivering our long-term procurement strategy for our UK business that is sourced responsibility and reduces our environmental impact, at the right costs to support our business growth.

What you’ll do:
- Lead the procurement of major construction projects across our estate, delivering new hotels, extensions, conversions, and refurbishments that shape the future of Premier Inn.
- Manage high-profile tender processes and negotiate multi-million-pound contracts to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with property stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to drive performance, innovation, and sustainability across all projects.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, challenging the status quo and introducing smarter, more efficient ways of working that benefit both teams and guests.
- Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, providing valuable commercial insights and procurement expertise to influence investment decisions and deliver measurable value.
What you’ll need:
- Previous proven experience of developing, documenting and implement procurement strategies for construction projects with expert knowledge of construction contracts JCT and NEC having managed large multi-million-pound budgets.
- A CIPS qualification or Quantity Surveyor would be beneficial but not essential.
- Able to demonstrate strong problem-solving, lateral thinking, project management, planning organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and adaptable, you have the ability to manage own workload yet respond to changing business priorities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
