Financial Risk & Control – Process Improvement Manager
Based out of Whitbread Court, Dunstable
Up to £65k DOE plus excellent benefits package including Car/Allowance and annual bonus up to 30%
As part of our Risk & Controls finance team, this new senior appointment will report into our Financial Controller (Rick, Controls & Compliance). Passionate about process improvement, you’ll be tasked with shaping, developing and embedding our control and risk frameworks; focusing across diverse areas including our IT General Controls framework for key financial systems, controls around third party service providers and controls covering GDPR.
What you will be doing:-
This new role aims to support Whitbreads’ vision on Financial Controls. Improving our operation and design of controls – and to champion the value that these give to Whitbread. We’ll trust you to identify and improve new and ongoing processes across our organisation, continuing and developing a robust controls environment for all key areas of the operational side of our business.
Business Partnering effectively across a variety of business areas up to Director level, you’ll have the opportunity to influence on best practice, and encourage decision making that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our controls. Combined with embedding suitable frameworks within all new projects, you’ll nurture a best-in-class environment that supports our accounting centre to deliver exceptional reporting for our FTSE 100 business.
