Senor Brand Development & Marketing Manager – Restaurants Marketing - Bar + Block - 12 month secondment

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join our Restaurants Commercial Marketing team where you will lead all the brand and marketing activity for Bar + Block steakhouse. In this high-profile role, the key focus will be to optimise trading performance and pipeline potential of the brand so that it becomes a proven and commercially robust proposition which can be rolled out on a larger scale.
What you will be doing
Accountable for owning and leading all our brand and marketing activity for Bar + Block Steakhouse, you’ll incorporate key insights from initial trials to successfully open additional sites whilst regularly refining and evolving the proposition and location strategy based on guest, commercial and operational insights.
You’ll lead the exterior and interior design for Bar + Block, considering what works for the brand as well as from a customer and operational perspective, all without taking your eye off the impact on the guest.
Leading the briefing process internally and working alongside the F&B team to develop menus as per the commercial plan, you’ll also act as a key agency interface, using your expertise and knowledge to provide direction and approval for all creative communications, ensuring that the team deliver on brand, in budget and on time.
Developing and delivering the commercial marketing and engagement plan for the brand as well as a fully integrated marketing strategy and plan for the launch of all sites, you’ll ensure that not only is each site supported from a commercial perspective but also that Bar + Block Steakhouse becomes a recognised and considered restaurant brand in each local marketplace.
Why we would like you to apply
An experienced, proven and passionate commercial marketeer, you have a minimum 3 years experience in a senior marketing manager or similar role with strong brand strategy and interior/creative design development experience in a fast paced, multi-site environment.
You are an insights driven, commercially focused individual with the ability to recognise issues and develop effective solutions. Able to multi task and prioritise within a fast paced, cross functional working environment, you have exceptional stakeholder management ability which makes you a pro when it comes to engaging and influencing effectively across all levels both internally and externally.
You have a Business/Marketing degree or professional marketing qualification and knowledge of integrated marketing campaign management as well as brand management and development and trading/P&L understanding.
